Thank you for visiting my website. I have been enthusiastically involved with photography for just about all of my life, since I received my first Kodak Instamatic camera at about the age of 9 or 10. My father was quite a good photographer and that is how I acquired my talent for this form of art. I did my first wedding photography job in 1992 for a couple that was being "remarried" for their 10th wedding anniversary, and it turned out so nice that other people started asking me to photograph their weddings as well. I enrolled in some photography classes at Indiana University of PA (IUP) and I learned quite a few techniques and skills from those classes.
Although weddings are primarily the events I photograph, I also do senior portraits, and have done sports and company parties.
I do only digital photography, utilizing a 14 megapixel slr camera with various lenses, and I always carry a backup camera and lenses. I also use a Photoshop editing program to enhance my photos, and I use ONLY professional photo labs to process the photos and books. My focus is on both the traditional and photojournalistic styles of photography, so that you will have both posed and candid shots in your wedding photo book.
